Meri: Elly what is the education like in the village you are researching?
Elly: "Well the young generous wants to have a good education so they can get better jobs that there parents. Like the mom in a family doesn't know how to read in english but her kid is getting a master degree. They are trying to build a better school but the government is working on that also working on getting on getting every family a bathroom in their houses".
Meri: Whats their money currency?
Elly: "$1.00 = 55 rupes"
Meri: How do people in India get around?
Elly: "Motor cycle or scooter
Most people don't have a motor cycle or scooter, so they take the train or bus which cost nothing like 10 bucks for 10 hours.
Meri: Whats there government like?
Elly: "They have a democracy, 1 nation with a lot of states. But in the olden days they would have a king owning a lot of the land and he is the boss and then the British got a hold of India for awhile".

- The village depends on rain so its tough if they don't get rain for them to farm.
